If you engrave AR-15 receivers with a laser, the hard part usually isn't the artwork. It's getting the receiver in the same spot every time. A good jig takes care of that. This guide explains what an AR15 engraving jig does, how it works, and how to pick the right one from our lineup.
Jig only. Our jigs are not firearms and not firearm accessories. They are tools that hold your own receiver steady on the laser bed. They don't drill, mill, or modify anything.
A laser engraving jig is a fixture that sits on your laser bed and holds a part in a known position. For AR-15 work, that part is a lower receiver, or a lower and an upper. Instead of guessing placement, shimming, or taping things down, you drop the receiver into the jig and the laser sees it in the same place every time.
The jigs are 3D manufactured, built to last, and colors may vary.
This is our main jig. It holds the lower and the upper, and the Gen4 version adds anchor points for the dust cover and the pic rail. It's made for standard mil-spec AR-15 receivers and will not fit 80% lowers. For those, see the 80% jig below.

The 80% Gen4 jig is for operators who need to engrave 80% lowers before drilling out the fire-control group cavity, leaving the trigger, hammer, and safety selector holes undrilled. We also supply a pin that makes it compatible with the regular mil-spec lower. In other words, if you plan to engrave 80% lowers and standard lowers, this is the jig you want.

This version is made for the xTool F1 Ultra, with a 70mm on-center bolt pattern. Check your Ultra's pattern first, because some vary. It includes right-side and left-side receiver jigs, a charging handle piece, a dust cover piece, and upright top receiver pieces.

If you only engrave lowers, this is the simpler option. It's modeled after a stripped Anderson lower and is compatible with most standard mil-spec AR-15 lowers.

The receivers, the dust cover, and the charging handle are not included with any of the jigs. You supply your own parts.
The F1 Ultra version is made for the xTool F1 Ultra's bolt pattern. For other lasers, check the mounting pattern against the jig's anchor holes before you order. If you're unsure, message us before buying.
